Beat Stress and Digestive Issues: Ayurveda-Inspired Solutions for the Modern Woman

Hi Reader,

What gives you strength and direction in your life?

Yoga & Ayurveda have been my loyal companions for nearly three decades. They have led me through ups and downs, moving country, illnesses, pregnancies, and house moves. I have built and grown my business with and around them.

Over that time, I have mainly worked with women during all stages of their lives: pre-pregnancy, pregnancy, postnatal, raising their children, menopause, and beyond.

I have seen them struggle with the “and” children and careers without feeling guilty or neglecting their health and well-being.

Because of the struggle, digestive issues started to show in the form of bloating, constipation, and IBS. These digestive issues appear in skin issues such as breakouts or rashes, allergies, feelings of heaviness, and mood swings.

The stress of constant struggle creates habits such as snacking (even healthy snacks) and not eating properly because there is just no time and less cooking. After all, ordering a takeaway or buying a ready meal is faster.

Back and shoulder aches and issues around the menstrual cycle showed. I have watched them hopping from one diet and lifestyle choice to the other with only growing frustration as nothing seems to shift. Exhausting, right?

Observing these cycles has led me to create the Back to Balance course.

As mentioned above, Yoga & Ayurveda has been my companion for nearly three decades of a fairly busy life. Here is why:

Ayurveda gives clear guidelines on how to live a healthy life with ease. Here are the four steps that I have distilled:

  1. Sleep: tips for better sleep.
  2. Eat: eating times, nutrition, shopping lists, recipes.
  3. Seasonal balance: identify causes of common seasonal ailments.
  4. Integration: easily integrate your new practices into your life and family.

The Back to Balance course will show you how:

  • the basic principles of Ayurveda so you can connect eating and the seasons.
  • make suitable food choices for your personal and professional life.
  • plan and prep your meals beforehand so that you never ask, “What’s cooking today?” again.

Together, we structure your day so that everything fits in without stress.

If that sounds like what you need right now, stay tuned.

The course starts Sunday, February 4th; booking opens Sunday, January 28th.

Please reach out with any questions; I am happy to help and happy to have a chat if you prefer.
